When I was 11-months-old, we discovered a stray bulldog had been brought into the Manhattan shelter from Brooklyn--and without thinking it through, we sprang him loose!
We loved him back to life--from underweight, anxiety filled, and flea bitten--and watched him become the happiest dog on the planet!

Our greatest triumph passed away several years ago, after four joy-filled years with us, the last one living like a prince in London.
